You will get this error, if you haven’t updated/installed your command line tools.

Follow the following steps

• Then open Xcode > Preferences > Downloads > Command Line Tools or execute in Terminal:
  xcode-select --install
• Select Xcode > Preferences > Locations > Command Line Tools
